wordpress-logo-tiltedDid you write some articles in your wordpress blog and turned off comments for that specific article? Well, if you did, then you will have to turn them on every single one of them back because the global setting that apply to all post in, Settings->Discussion, will not apply for past post. Although there are other ways to do this, I find mysql script very simple and fast. So here are the step:
1- Login to your hosting Control Panel
2- Open your mysql database in phpMyAdmi and authenticate
2- Open the SQL tab
3- and type:

UPDATE pretext_posts SET comment_status = 'open' WHERE comment_status = 'closed';
