Bloatware are apps the manufacturers and carriers put on the Android device. Many users don’t use these apps. So these apps hug space on your device and in many instances use data by running in the background. The ideal solution would be to uninstall these apps, but this option is not available. So the next best solution is to disable them. In this tutorial, we are going to go over how to disable bloatware apps on your Android device. Be careful when disabling apps as they might run in the background providing services for other apps; therefore making those apps to malfunction.
For the sake of this tutorial I am going to disable the IMDb app, which is a movie database application.
First, open the settings app.
Second, scroll down and tap on the apps section.
Third, scroll down to the apps that you want to disable and tap on it.
Fourth, tap on disable.
