How to Close Frozen Applications in Ubuntu

Here are a couple of simple ways you can use to close frozen applications in Ubuntu or any Linux distro. When a given applications does not respond, open a terminal and type
sudo killall <application name>
Another option you could use is “xkill.” With this command your mouse acts as the killer of the application. Just type “sudo xkill” on the terminal, and with the mouse click anywhere on the frozen applications.
